HOMEi1.jpg HOMEi2.jpg     Welcome to Lois Gean’s!

We not only celebrate a new year in 2008, but also the beginning of 60 years in business! Recent articles in Southern Living magazine (and being included in their “50 Top Shops in the South”), At Home in Arkansas, and in Arkansas Business have stimulated business and brought us new customers. We continue to travel to NYC and Dallas for the “best of the best” in fashion from the United States, England, Italy, France, and Germany.

Spring/summer 2008 is filled with color.  Looking around at Lois Gean’s, you’ll see many shades of turquoise, sometimes paired with brown.  Nautical red, white and navy, and crisp black and white abound.  Bursts of shocking pink and orange pop up in casual dresses and tops.  Cavalli has translated his trademark reptile prints into blue, hot pink, yellow, and traditional brown.  Feraud trimmed his black or white with bright multicolor trim. Trina Turk paired soft brights back to pale khaki and grey and white.  Diane von Furstenberg added mixed media prints in flirty new shapes…even a new twist on the wrap dress.  Novelty jackets are available in reversible styles (Khangura), casual or dressy (Anage), and fitted new fun styles (Baxis & Baxis).  Trenchcoats are the season’s must have, and are available in basic black (Chacok), lacquered coral (Yansi Fugel), and chic silver.  Funky casuals can be found from Art to Wear and Re-Set, a new resource from NYC.  Crisp shirtings from Finley and Liz Logie are here just in time for the temperatures to rise.  Always-comfortable Eileen Fisher is the hot seller for hot weather.  It’s time to plan a trip!  There are outfits waiting for YOU!

Sign in for advance notification about special events, trunk shows, and markdowns. And plan a trip to Magnolia soon! A sign in the shop reads “Anyone who says money can’t buy happiness doesn’t shop at Lois Gean’s.” Come see why it’s true.

Sincerely,
Kathy Gean
